The Patek Philippe World Time 5330G-010 was unveiled at the Patek Philippe exhibition in Tokyo in 2023 and became the world’s first World Time watch to feature a date display synchronized with local time. This timepiece is equipped with a patented world-first innovation: a date indication linked to local time—meaning the time zone selected at 12 o’clock and shown by the central hands—made possible by the new caliber 240 HU C housed inside.Created for the special Tokyo 2023 edition (a limited series of 300 pieces and the first of its kind), the watch features a white gold case paired with a plum-colored dial. On the 24-hour ring, divided into day and night zones highlighted by rhodium-plated or plum-colored backgrounds, the traditional sun symbol is replaced by a red rising sun.
